  Do NOT use them for any pool repairs. My husband was working long hours at work and did not have time to mess with our pool so he said to pay someone to fix it. We already knew the motor was not working and would need to buy a new one, but we were hoping they would be able to tell us what caused the problem. Crystal Clear charged us $120 to come out and look at it. They said they didn't know what caused it, but we would have to buy a new motor (which we already knew). He said he would get back to me by the end of the day on quotes. Friday evening comes no word. Saturday no word. Finally Monday morning I call them and they say they aren't sure what pump it is and are trying to figure out if a universal part will work, but I may need to buy a whole new pump. They said hopefully they will get back to me by that afternoon. I decide they aren't in a hurry to help and so I go outside having no pool experience and figure out what pump it is. I go online and order the parts that they said were unavailable for the pump and order a new motor (which was $150 less than what they would charge). That afternoon the repair man calls and explains he is trying to figure out what pump it is and what parts will work. He is having difficulty though and we might just need to buy a new pump. I tell him I already figured it out and took care of it. He told me to text him the pump name and model. After I do, he calls quoting the parts. I tell him I already found the parts and have ordered them myself. I explain that I'm frustrated because that's what I paid them to do and I ended up spending my morning doing it. His reply was he did help, he found the parts. I said AFTER I had to tell you what pump it was. We asked for a refund, but their reply was we offered you a quote and you were unsatisfied with it. We asked them what they thought was fair and they gave us a mere $45 store credit, not even close to the amount paid. They are pool experts, but as someone with no pool experience, I did their job for them. I paid $75 for them to do nothing and delay my repairs 4 extra days. I will NOT use them again, nor recommend them.
